*After World War II Korea had been divided ion a Communist held north and Democratic south
*In 1950 North invades the south with support of Russian weapons and chinese troops

*China sent in more troops, much more then all the UN soldiers
* UN Soldiers have to return back to the south
*War ends in 1953 with both sides returning to the original borders
