Improved Mobility and Communication
*Boom and Bust*
*Right now Canada was in a 'Boom'
*Radios and movie halls were now very important for communication
*Movies were first seen with sound instead of just 'Talkies'
*Everyone got their news at the beginning of these movies
*More people had cars, this made it possible for more people to be tourists and because of this we had better highways. (1920 1600Km - 160000Km by 1929)
*No trans Canada Hwy. Most roads went north- south
*Because of this we had to change the side of the road that we drove on because of our British background we drove on the left hand side while the USA drove on the right.
*Aviation began to expand with pilots and planes becoming more efficient.
