The Judicial System
*Judicial branch is made up of all the various courts throughout Canada.Courts are run by Provinces except for the Supreme Court of Canada.
*Final court of appeal in Canada.
*Made up of 9 judges 3 must be form Quebec.
*They decide what punishments the offender deserves, decide whether someone is guilty or not and if so what they will have to serve
*Based on the Common Law System from England.
*Legislators make up the laws.
*Police forces enforce these laws.
*The Canadian constitution gives the federal government the exclusive right to legislate criminal law
